The Fulton County Airport Administrative Building Renovation and Addition modernized an existing Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) station to better support the operational needs of Fulton County Executive Airport. GVSA provided architectural design services for the project, which included both renovation of existing spaces and the addition of new administrative facilities. The project introduced a new upper-level administrative suite that now houses airport leadership offices, conference rooms, and workspace for Fulton County’s economic development team. These upgraded facilities provide a modern and technologically equipped environment for airport management while supporting coordination with regional aviation partners and visiting stakeholders. A large conference and meeting space was incorporated into the design to accommodate public meetings, business development discussions, and operational coordination during emergency situations. The administrative areas were designed with flexibility in mind, allowing the building to serve both day-to-day airport operations and special events. The second phase of the project focused on improvements to the existing ARFF facilities on the lower level. Apparatus bays were renovated to accommodate more of todays firefigting techmologies , and new operational spaces were added to improve emergency response capabilities. Through careful integration of new construction and renovation, the project extends the life of the facility while providing updated infrastructure that supports both aviation safety operations and the airport’s long-term growth.
