The West Highland Affordable Housing Development seeks to add additional affordable density to the quickly developing West Midtown area. The development incorporates 195 residential units with a 60/40 mix of affordable and market rate housing in two buildings situated over a concrete podium and deck. The design offers a modern take on some of the existing neighborhood vernacular and capitalizes on the adjacent Herman E. Perry Park and walking trails that provide easy access to the soon to be open Bellwood Quarry Park which when complete will be Atlanta’s largest planned greenspace.
