The Atlanta Falcons Corporate Offices were developed as part of the overall design effort for Mercedes-Benz Stadium, where GVSA served on the broader stadium design team and acted as the prime architect for the Falcons’ administrative headquarters within the stadium complex. The project required a comprehensive programming process beginning with an evaluation of the team’s existing headquarters in Flowery Branch to determine operational needs, projected staff growth, and organizational structure. The final design accommodates more than 300 employees across three levels integrated within the structural framework of the stadium. The selected location required careful coordination around large structural columns, mechanical spaces, and other infrastructure elements that were already embedded within the stadium’s architecture. In addition to supporting the Falcons’ football operations, the offices were also designed to accommodate staff from Atlanta United following ownership’s acquisition of the Major League Soccer franchise. A dramatic three-story clear-story entry lobby establishes a central gathering space and visual focal point for the workplace. Balcony overlooks and interconnected work zones create visual connectivity between departments while supporting a collaborative environment. The office environment incorporates flexible workplace strategies including telecommuting stations, nomadic workspaces, and a variety of meeting and collaboration areas. The design reflects the Falcons’ goal of creating one of the most advanced and engaging corporate environments in professional sports while supporting employee recruitment, retention, and long-term organizational growth.
