Atlanta Gas Light Regional Headquarters is a 43,000 SF corporate facility that integrates administrative offices, training environments, and operational support functions within a cohesive and flexible workplace setting. Designed as a regional hub for Southern Gas Company, the building supports executive leadership, staff collaboration, and field operations through a combination of open workspaces, enclosed meeting rooms, conference areas, and multi-purpose training spaces that accommodate evolving organizational needs. The design prioritizes long-term adaptability, allowing the workplace to respond to changing technologies, staffing models, and operational workflows over time. Emphasis was placed on creating a comfortable and productive environment through the integration of daylight-optimized curtain wall systems, energy-efficient mechanical strategies utilizing natural gas, and spray-applied acoustic insulation that enhances occupant comfort. A rooftop garden contributes to biodiversity while providing employees with access to outdoor space that supports wellness and informal interaction.
