The APD Drug Interdiction Task Force and K9 Unit Relocation project consisted of the renovation of an existing space beneath Concourse E to support specialized law enforcement operations within the airport environment. The program includes offices, conference and interview rooms, K9 support areas, and staff amenities designed to meet operational and security requirements. Improvements included selective demolition, new openings to introduce natural light, and upgrades to mechanical, electrical, and life safety systems. The project enhances functionality for investigative and K9 units while maintaining compatibility with the airport’s secure infrastructure.
