Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Concourse T Midpoint Expansion improves vertical circulation capacity and passenger flow at a critical connection point between the Plane Train station, Transportation Mall, and the T Gates. The project expands the midpoint hub to accommodate additional escalators and elevators, addressing increased demand driven by ongoing airport growth and expanded security screening operations. Enhancements include expanded waiting areas, improved sightlines to the apron, and upgraded wayfinding and flight information systems that support intuitive navigation through one of the concourse’s most heavily trafficked areas. The design carefully integrates new circulation infrastructure within an active terminal environment, requiring detailed phasing and coordination to maintain uninterrupted operations. The project supports ATLNext program goals by improving efficiency, accessibility, and passenger experience within a complex operational setting.
