Henry County Aquatic Center is a comprehensive recreation and competition facility designed to provide a dynamic destination for community activity, events, and aquatic programming. Developed in partnership with Architecture Unlimited, the facility combines family-oriented amenities with competitive swim environments, creating a flexible resource that supports both recreation and organized athletics. Located adjacent to a public golf course and surrounded by ponds and landscaped open space, the project responds to its natural setting while providing a highly visible community gathering place. The outdoor water park includes multiple attractions designed for users of all ages, including four water slides, a lazy river, a wave rider, a zero-entry play pool, private cabanas, and a dedicated food-truck park that supports social activity and extended visits. The indoor facility is anchored by a 50-meter competition pool designed to accommodate swim meets, team practices, and group fitness programs, complemented by a separate 25-meter instructional pool for lessons and training. Spectator seating for up to 800 visitors is accessed by a bridge leading to a second-floor lobby that overlooks the aquatic environment. Large windows introduce natural light and provide views of the surrounding landscape, while flexible event spaces support meetings, parties, and team functions. Outdoor terraces and a rooftop patio extend gathering areas and provide elevated views of the water park below.
